Artist description We describe our music as "pleasant rock." We are not to heavy, but we don't sound like Hanson either. We are a Christian band, and we like uplifting music. I guess we could be considered a sharp contrast of what's popular today on the radio. Most of our stuff is major key based, and we try to have a good vocal melody, without buying into the trendy sounds that characterizes Christian rock but makes it sound really outdated in 7 or 8 years. You won't hear any DJ scratching or drum machines in our music. We like to keep it simple as just an old fashioned power trio. But, the most important thing about our music is not guitar chords, grooves, or vocal melodies. We consider our lyrics to be the most important feature of the band because we write about such deep spiritual issues, such as redemption, politics, and household plumbing. If someone listens to an Elijah's Anthem song and doesn't learn something about Jesus or another spiritual matter, then they have either missed the point of our music, or we have failed in our delivery.

Artist History We started out as a praise and worship band in our church, then gigs started to pick up around town. We went through many band names ranging from "Los Screwdrivers" to "Elf Farm Raffle". We started to augment our praise and worship set list with cover songs by Audio Adrenaline, DC Talk, and Bleach. It wasn't long until we wrote our first song, "Prodigal Son", and a year later we released Soulflood, an 8 song ep. We have since been writing better songs and picking up more gigs around the southern Indiana area than ever. Our next plan is to put out a full length album next year.

Group Members First, there's Andrew, the frontman, who seeks to tell the world that even extremely good looking guys like himself do not have girlfriends. Then there is Samuel, the bass playing gentle giant, who is the master of fishing, dog rearing, and sandwich making, among other things. Lastly, is our ambitious drummer, Barry, who is the little brother of Andrew and at sometimes is the most mature person in the band and sometimes acts like he is the band member we imported from the planet Melmack.
