Artist description
B.N.E / Yoyo rec. are proud to present their most unique offering…
Jonathan Dagan and Shay Raviv (aged 20 and live in the north of Israel)
threaten to be the "hottest" thing to come out of Israel in the last years.
With influences from the likes of Eat Static, Ozric Tentacles,
Front Line Assembly, Depeche Mode, Dream Theatre and more,
the young talents have created an amazingly intelligent spaced out style.
Their music is defined as excellent experimental psychedelic electronica!
Their debut album - " First Sign Of Communication " is an original and peculiar masterpiece moving from brilliant extraterrestrial ambient/dub and chilled grooves through hard jungle to even harder electro-beats.
The journey is subtle and really well balanced with each tune complimenting the next. Each track has it's own identity, its unique style and atmosphere. This may be due to the complexity of each track.
There is so much detail: Nifty little melodies, filtered drumloops & storming breakbeats, oozing synthpads, distorted soundscapes and so on...
The vocals and samples used really melt in your brain.
Highly stimulative sounds that trigger your moods make you fly away
to another dimension before crashing back down to what's left on Earth.
Sad and happy at the same time, the melodies are ever changing and
the build up is just excellent with one riff morphing into another.
Violet Vision are a new find. And what a revelation!
They have a true talent for unadulterated electronic originality which
"Opens the doors of perception into a new world of experience".
This album is a release of quality & purity
of higher levels of consciousness! |
