The answers to these questions will never be answered because the choosing of this name had absolutely no thought whatsoever behind it. Notice how the name is spelled: "Shoo-Fly Pi." Now let it sink in. There are neither any "shoes" nor "pies" in the name. They are best being summed up as a mixture of hardcore, aggro-rock, and rap-core. While officially forming in the spring of 2000, every member brought individual flavors to Shoo-Fly Pi which are reflected in the lyrics and music. The lyrics are influenced by the beliefs on which the band holds dearly. The music is a driving force to convey this passion that burns within.
