Artist History The story of Johnny Lawless and the Criminal Kid is a long badass adventure soon to be captured on Behind the Music and a self-produced Biopic from the geniuses themselves. The union of the two minds came to a head when the y combined efforts form UMass Amherst class in "Brave New Worlds." These efforts spawned rEvolution, a film under which they had complete artistic control from the direction to the acting to the soundtrack to the dolly gripping. Upon its release, it recieved large critical lauds from all of those in positions to be critical about it. The film concerned the restructuring of a post-apocalyptic world with emphasis on four loners who would have previously had no connection with each other. Its film-noir-ish bleakness resulted in a subsequently dark soundtrack album, which also featured cuts by Jeff Buckley and Billy Joel and a new song by Johnny Lawless' brother. The primal sounds on this cd are perhaps what the outlaw duo is best known for, but their range knows no bounds and can not be contained.
