Artist description
Jasmine Seabron is signed with FIA Gospel Records and is a very talented gospel music singer. Originally from Atlanta, she has spent the majority of her young career singing live. Her studio performance carries the same energy that is typical of the live show. Her renditions of contemporary gospel standards are heart moving and although she is physically blind, her spiritual sight is unmistakable. Her first cassette with FIA is entitled "His Eye is on the Sparrow" and is selling well throughout Georgia. Jasmine is currently touring with the Universoul Circus. |

Musical Influences
Jasmine attributes her early learning about the power of God to her grandparents, Deacon Albert and Evangelist Theresa King who she has lived with since birth. Inspired by Gospel performers Kirk Franklin and John P. Kee, she began singing publicly at the age of five. She performed with Vickie Winons in 1997 for the Martin Luther King celebration in Detroit and sang at a benefit luncheon in Tuskegee to help raise money for the Black churches effected by burnings in 1999. |

Artist History
A singer and anointed minister since the age of four, Jasmine stands about 42 feet tall, but her immeasurable conviction and her strong faith go far beyond "once in a while faith," she lives by her beliefs daily. Although physically blind, her spiritual vision projects wisdom beyond her years. It is her spiritual journey that is reflected through her powerful, yet comforting voice. The ten songs on this CD unveil Jasmine’s love of life and her ability to overcome any obstacle. Thanks for being a fellow child of God and one of my fans. Jasmine Seabron
Jasmine Seabron Stirs Souls with New CDThe selections, which include a mixture of eight original songs recently written and two gospel standards, provide a glimpse of her courage, strength, and confidence. Her gift of "stirring souls" through her music and ministry is a testament of her blessings. This is evident in the lyrics from There For Moses, a gospel ballad co-written by Jasmine. The song is a reminder of all that God has done and will continue to do for us, said Jasmine.
Best Kept Secret, combines a superb arrangement with very powerful lyrics and lends credit to how Jasmine's steadfast faith keeps her going. This Best Kept Secret is what she wants listeners to know: there is power in His name and He will answer your prayers.
The listener will be pleasantly surprised as Jasmine eases into the selection, Grow Up in the Name, which carries a simple, yet compassionate message of growing up in the name of Jesus and having faith because "Jesus loves me, this I know." Jasmine’s voice blends beautifully with the harmonic mix of this song. The lyrics are also reflective of a "normal" day for Jasmine, which includes the ordinary routine of preparing for school, where she is an honor roll student. However, once she gets there, her extraordinary routine begins; praying for her classmates. "I pray for them to be healed when they are sick," she says, in a manner that clearly is not bragging, just humble and faith-filled.
His Eye is on the Sparrow as well as The Lord's Prayer, which are Jasmine's favorites, showcases her vocal abilities and the true power of the effect that these songs have had on her life. She sings them with reverent passion.
