Artist History
Growing up in New York, Hrach was introduced to the world of music at a very young age. By the age of 3, he had already taught himself how to play the piano and sing. By age 8, Hrach found himself performing throughout the U.S. and then called Miami his new home.
Under the guidance of professor Dr. Rosalina Sackstein, Hrach excelled at piano and performance winning numerous state and international competitions. He soon found himself heading back to New York, but this time to fulfill a lifelong dream.
That dream came true in March 1988, when Hrach, then 17, gave his solo debut performance at Carnegie Hall. A sell-out crowd gave him 5 standing ovations and 3 encores that evening. The young New York native was honored with a spectacular homecoming as critics claimed, "...a prodigy...a master...well beyond his years."
Through the course of the following years, Hrach's interests shifted to popular music and songwriting. He started creating his own music and released his first album, "TrueFiction" which sold over 1000 copies by mere word of mouth. Hrach was credited with songwriter, keyboardist, vocalist, arranger, producer and executive producer on that album. The transition had begun.
Growing up in Miami, the cultural diversity played a big role in the development of this young artist. Hrach listened and learned. He devoured the cultural differences and learned the techniques of its natives. These experiences helped to develop the basis for his next CD.
In September 2000, Hrach began working on a new project. With influences from Latin, Afro-Cuban, Arabic, Indo-European and American pop, Hrach began recording.
The musicians were as diverse as the sources of influence. "But the feel...the performance...the statement...it was all there...it was really all there." "We knew we were part of something very special."
Not looking back at his past accomplishments, Hrach has set out once again to fulfill a dream. His latest single "Hard To Say Goodbye" has already established a new image and a new sound. That is just the beginning. His latest 3-song demo will be accompanied by 7 more originals as DJ's and Clubs already ask for more and more copies of the CD.
Now if you hear the name...you'll know how it all started. The same way it always starts...with a dream. HRACH
