Artist History The band formed in Austin, TX. as a result of Bryan and Bill playing together in a band called The Radio Thieves. After a recording session that Bill had asked Bryan to play drums on, the question was posed to Bill,"So why don't we form our own band with these kinds of songs?" So, we then went about searching for a bassist which was not very fruitful until Ben White, a nitive of New England, moved to Austin and joined up after a brief jam with Bryan. They hit it off so well musically and personally that he was immediately introduced to Bill and VOILA! you have Stringbones. Ben's bass lines became a cornerstone for the songs which Bill and Bryan were to craft into some of the most interesting pop music ever to hit Austin Texas.
