Artist History Originally formed by singer/songwriter/guitarist Matthew King while attending college. He put together a four piece group who shared his vision of creating original music like his favorite bands Sonic Youth and The Pixies. Named after King's favorite literary character, Attica Fix played the local shows and festivals and in the nearby cities of Baltimore and Washington D.C. but after two years the group changed members and dropped the name Attica Fix. King along with his new band gained a following and saw more success than AF, but to the dismay of King the group would disband before things really took off. King then began performing solo and with different groups and artists around the Mid-Atlantic region. Making a name for himself as a creative and dedicated artist he decided to reform his first love. King breathes new life back into the band you never heard, and brings along his AF machine that plans to do battle in the new war on rock!
