Artist description
starting as a six man band 2,5 years ago, 2,5 years later reduced to four, 2,5 years of struggeling with styles, songs, lyrics and live shows. it all seemed to be one big learning proces. did it pay of you ask, well, we sure like to think so.
why from six guys to four? iguess if you ask any six of us, you'll probably get six versions about some issues, but in short: musical differences and a somewhat different attitude towards the band and what to achive with it [call it motivation, call it what you want].
but anyways.
time to let the past go, back to the present. what are we now.
void is four headed band whose style is best to describe as "newschool crossover."
ayoung, energetic, motivated and melodic band wich influences should be sought in bands like: (HED)pe, Green Lizard, Incubus and One Minute Silence.
playing several gigs trough holland and belgium over the last years [among of them were shows opening for The Semitones and Concubine], working hard on new songs, void released a demo a few months earlier last year [march_2002], which already got some good critics. with a new demo [recorded march 2003] void is looking forward to a new year of playing gigs, meeting people, and above all: party. cuz that's what it's all about in the end.
hope to see you around sometime, somewhere...
