Artist History Spinning hue-man (Aka Curtis Humphrey) produces electronic music out of his constantly expanding self-made studio. His interest in music began at age 12 with a 4-track recorder, guitar, microphone and keyboard. Eventually, the use of freeware tracker programs was introduced and adopted until the evolution of recent software sequencers, which added distinctly to the creative capacities of a very budgeted musician. About 4 years ago, Curtis was exposed to european electronic music and since then has been deeply fascinated with underground electronica from europe, specifically downtempo psychedelic trance music. With a goal of producing aural-massaging mind-expanding tunes for life enjoyment, the artist labors continuously to improve his efforts...aiming at a distinct downtempo/dub/psychedelic flavour of organic/synthesized/sampled quality. Kid Wikki (Aka Joshua Berry) was born into Hip-hop... With roots as deep as they go and an eccentric record collection that could fill a garage, his experimental style of scratching records and sampling breaks all barriers past, present and future... Put the 80's and 90's in a blender and what comes out is the pure genius of Kid Wikki, scratching for the freedom of minds and mankind, surfing the borders of sanity, but above all, keeping it funky.
