Artist History
My Project: blue began in the year of 1996. While blue still played in many other bands he decided to start a solo project. Many hours were spent hidden away in his room recording with his crappy old Tascam 4-track, his acoustic guitar, a worn out keyboard, and his drums. After a few successful shows My Project: blue teamed up with the Weiners (Casey, Ben, and Ryan) and released their first split, deamed the 'Mis-hap Tour'. In the beginning of 1997, blue released his first EP, 'Lo Fi Fantasy' on his own label M-Records. Sometime in the year of 1998, some friends and blue began Our Project: blue which became the live show. Our Project: blue lasted for a few shows but then decided to stop for reasons undetermind. Late '98 My Project: blue released his second EP 'Projector' During the years 1999-2001, blue almost faded from existence when a lack of silence hindered his recording time and when he decided to spin records instead of composeing acoustic music. Now the story brings us to the present, My Project: blue is back. While recording in more of a digital format (trying hard not to sacrafice his lo fi background) blue is working towards his next LP, the Contempt, which should be ready by January of 2002 (if all goes well).
