Artist History Ian began writing funny songs back in highschool. When explaining to his science teacher what he was doing, he teacher exclained, "You must be insane, Ian!" and thus the name was born. In 1997 Ian joined up with Glenn "God of Rock" DeVage to form the band Insane Ian and the God of Rock. Glenn asked his friend Pete to join, and they became Insane Ian and Crotch. The band broke up in '98 because Glenn joined the navy and Pete is an idiot. Since then, Insane Ian has been keeping himself busy with various comedy & music projects such as Dick Snorkel, Pudding Capacity and various other projects.
