Artist description
Using processes and concepts developed in 20th century avant garde music as a diving board, the enzo trio performs splintered compositions by soprano saxophonist/composer A. Raffo Dewar.
Many of the tunes use a 'jazz model' - that is, the presentation of a theme, which leads to improvisations and variations on that theme, and then recapitulating the theme to close the piece. These works should be seen as first steps (baby steps at that!) in a new artists' developing work. Constructive criticism/ideas/support are welcomed by email at: enzotrio@hotmail.com //// Thank you for listening. |
