Artist History
Veeda was formed by Byron Miller and Aaron Hettler
in '99 as an outlet to write music that was
different from their previous bands, but pallatable.
To experiment with song structure, melody etc.
Two days later they had nine songs and a few months
later they put out an e.p. They just needed for others
to hear their work and were hungry to play shows.
They needed a drummer and a bass player. Many
drummers and no bass players later, Veeda found
help from a couple members of a local band,
Fit For Stomach. Nick Roberts, who sang and
played guitar, sat in on drums and Jorge Ramirez, who
played guitar, took the helm at low end Messiah.
This ended the search and both bands played on,
occassionally on the same bill. After FFS
dissolved a few months later. Nick and Jorge
decided to stay on as members of Veeda and
the drinking hasn't stopped since. |
