Artist description
wit-rock for the new decade..
Unpretentious rock & roll from seasoned veterans
of the Boston music scene...
the tint play to-the-point rock 'n' roll songs--
one after another. Their new CD "Captain" reveals
a witty brand of songwriting (wit-rock,
perhaps?), hovering somewhere around London in
1978, but there's no phony accents. There's also
no posturing or "scenester" pretense here. The
result is well-crafted, brisk rock songs that use
two-parts brain for every one-part brawn.
Led by songwriter/singer/guitarist Evan Evans,
the tint present songs about seesaw relationships,
the unresolved urgency of being part of the
"me-generation", and the frustration with the
necessary evils of corporate America. Rounding
out the lineup are bassist Michael Geher,
keyboardist Sean Will, and drummer Sean Greene.
Those who haven't heard the tint are missing out
on a promising new band that delivers what music
fans have always wanted and haven’t been able to
find------- good rock & roll with no bullshit…
