The Romantic Satire is an instrumental project, centered on the effort of creating beauty complemented by music's pulse--rhythm. The song names are not arbitrary. It's music to listen to alone; it's music to fall asleep to. Enjoy. |

Artist History
The Romantic Satire is the audio sketchbook of guitarist Brian Sutherland. The Romantic Satire is a reaction to Sutherland's dealings with the frustration of playing guitar in a band that failed to challenge the tireless conventions of "emo" and pop rock. Never a fan for the banality of pop music, Sutherland endeavored to create music beyond the scope of conventional indie-rock and into the realm of lesser-charted audio territories. |
