Artist description
Variously described as a pop band with no instruments, or a cappella boy band, we make music with our voices only. Andy Frost - our genius vocal percussionist - provides the groove. From bass drum to high hat, he produces entire drum tracks with his mouth. Colin adds the bass, and the two combined are as tight a rhythm section as you will find. James, Michael, Nic and Steve provide the layers of harmony and lead vocals on top.

Artist History
Evolving since 1995 out of an amalgamation of friendships, college shows and luck, The Magnets` current line-up has been together since late 1997. Signed to EMI`s Liberty label in April 2000, our debut album `Giving It All That` was recorded in London with leading producer Chris Neil (Cher, Rod Stewart, Celine Dion). Two singles - `How Deep` and `All The Wrong Reasons` have been released in the UK, with the latter song also winning the 2001 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award (CARA) for best song.
