Artist History
The idea of Still Case was formed in Salyersville, KY on March of 2001 when Justin and Jarrod first met. Justin was looking to start a local band and Jarrod just happened to be looking for the same thing. It took some time to get going, but soon escalated into what you see today. After playing together for a few weeks they both realized each others potential. Their chemistry was perfect. It was time to find a bassist.
After searching for about a month, Justin made contact with Joey through a mutual friend on the internet. Needless to say Jarrod and Justin were impressed with Joey's skill from the first moment. He was born to play bass it seemed. Joey apparently liked what he heard from the other guys and joined on immediately. The band was almost complete, lacking only a name and a vocalist, but that would soon change. After tossing around a few names, Still Case was the final decision.
Like the name of the band, finding the right vocalist was just as difficult. Having gone through several different vocalists, Joey finally snagged his co-worker Nick five months after joining. Nicks lyrics and vocal quality complimented the already dramatic music of Still Case very well forming one of the most unique metal sounds to date.
