Progressive Metal band. SION was born in 1995 in Rio Cuarto, Argentina. Originally, this band was orientated to Death-Metal; but trough time, their music begun to include elements from Jazz and Tango among others styles until the band reached the particular sound that characterizes it. |

Artist History
SION was born in the first months of 1995 in Rio Cuarto, Cordoba, Argentina; and ever since the band has been playing pretty much in different stages all across their country.
At the beginning, their style was orientated to Death-Metal, but trough time, they begun to include elements from others forms of music such as jazz and tango in their songs.
In the late 1999, a radical change in the band take place, changing its instrumentation as much as its style; finally morphing SION in a instrumental band.
Actually, the musicians that gives form to SION are: Marcos Fernández (piano), Martín Fernández (bass), Leandro Ramallo (guitar) and Fernando Ferreyra (drums). |
