Artist History
Robert Vincent began playing guitar at 9 years old. In his teens he began to take his craft seriously and he has never lost sight of his one true desire, to immerse himself completely in music. Since then he has been involved in many different areas of the music business. In addition to being a full time musician he has held such positions as Recording Engineer, Software Product Specialist, and Instructor. He now lives on the East Coast and is trying a fresh approach to recording using the newest digital technology and collaboration software. This allows him to work closely with his many colleagues on the West Coast.
As a performer, Robert has played and recorded with many talented musicians, including Ben Peeler who is now with The Wallflowers and Ron Manog who has played with Seal. Most notably a guitar player he is also proficient at bass and keyboards. In addition to his collection of 9 other guitars he plays a Fender Custom Shop 1960 Strat as his main axe. As for amplification he uses all the toys to make all the noise.
"I love all kinds of music, as long as it has smart lyrics, a radio ready sound and feels great I'm in." "The most important thing to me is a polished professional sound."
Robert has also written or co-written dozens of songs, many of which have been released by independent artists in the Los Angeles area.
