Artist History
Rhonda's Basement began when Colin MacKinnon (a Scot recently relocated to Chicago) and Tim Marin (a native Southsider) used the offer of free beer to lure the rest of the soon-to-be members into the basement of Colin's landlady for a run-through of few songs Colin had written. Yes, the landlady's name is Rhonda. The beer was smashingly good (Schneiderand Sohns "Avenetinus", a few "Fat Monk"'s, and "Duval", I believe), and the run-through was successful enough make it a regular thing. |
