Artist History Randall Flagg began as an idea in1999. Old high school friends Vic Savellano (drums) and Ryan Fleming (guitar) decided to join their efforts and start song writing together unaware of what it would soon lead to. Randall Flagg quickly found a strange blend of alternative metal and hardcore which began to form their unusual style. After the stylistic roots were firmly established, Randall Flagg began to seek out other old friends. Needing a vocalist, Ryan and Vic approached grade school friend Adam Browning. They knew Adam had the ability to lead the band vocally and conceptually. Adam was singing for a band called Sutter Kane at the time and had to make a decision. He realized this new project might better suit his musical direction and decided to join with his old friends. Quickly his intense vocal delivery and introspective lyrics ignited Ryan and Vic bringing them one step away from completing the band. After a few lineup changes for bass guitar, Adam recruited his old song writing partner Tom Piascik to fill the position. Tom, also a good friend of all the current members, brought a more melodic element to the group which added the dynamic that would solidify the band. Since then the band has grown and developed into an unusual blend of chaotic heavy music and insightful lyrics that drives Randall Flagg to keep moving further away from the mainstream in order to explore their own individuality and self expression.
