Artist description Quarterstick is a hard rock band based out of Chicago, Illinois. We combine our hard-hitting drums, crunchy guitars, passionate vocals, and intelligent songwriting to create a live show that is not only fun for us, but incredible for the entire audience. We have been compared to the current sounds of Nickelback, Puddle of Mudd, and Fuel, but never forget our roots that lie deeply with bands such as Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains, and Stone Temple Pilots. Our goal as band is to create a show that is filled with energy and a good experience for everyone in the process. While the climax is the moment we step on stage and create our music, we want it to start behind the scenes with great organization and a positive attitude towards everyone we deal with. Quarterstick is a band of professional musicians, and, through our professionalism, we hope to accomplish great things.

Artist History Quarterstick began as Tony Covganka and Jason Ziolo. Playing out of Tony's basement, we put together a few songs that showcased our talent for songwriting and our passion for rock and roll. After sharing our new music with friends and fellow musicians, we realized that we were onto something and decided to take the next step. We found a bigger place to practice, bought some new equipment, and started writing songs around the clock. After numerous formal auditions, we met Colin Evans and Eric Carlson at a local music show. Colin showed an interest in Quarterstick after hearing the band's demos, and eventually joined the band after impressing us with his authentic lead guitar and huge sound. Colin later brought Eric to audition for the bass guitar position, and Eric’s drive and back-up vocals were exactly what we looking for. Excited and stronger than ever, Quarterstick never turned back…
