Artist History Devin and Alex met and became friends in a high school P.E. class for the wrestling team, which they somehow ended up in even though neither of them were on the wrestling team or even remotely interested in wrestling (Devin ran track and Alex played... well, he played HEAVY METAL). As they mopped up the sweaty wrestling mats after class, Devin and Alex discovered a common love for rocking out. It was not for another two years that they would begin collaborating, however... after graduating that year, Alex and his friends formed the band F.U.N.K. Devin, still with one year of high school left, formed and fronted the short-lived geek-rock outfit Otter Even. Both bands broke up by the end of the year. In early 2001, Devin and Alex decided join forces and formed Emergency Broadcast System. Lauren came aboard when she and Devin met on the e-mailing list for her other band, PopBandAlice. Now the kids from EBS relentlessy search for a drummer in order to complete their lineup. They plan to begin performing LA venues and recording this December.
