Artist History
Hello friends! I’m here to spread the good word of DOGMATIC. Let me take you on a whimsical journey though time as we explore how the truly enigmatic Dogmatic came to be. It all began in the early late 90’s. Three friends by the names of Garry, Hoser, and Loons were trying desperately to find ways to become cool in a world in which they felt socially awkward. After trial and error they realized that they would never become professional athletes due to lack of body mass. Nor would they ever be Xtreme athletes due to a low threshold for pain. Upon this realization it was apparent that they had only one choice left; to be musicians. The solution sounded easy enough, but a large road block stood in their path. They didn’t know how to play!
After six years (and two band names) the three friends had learned how to play their instruments, pretty well in fact, and had a new friend join them along the way… the expert musician Willis. When the three members of Dogmatic met Willis, they knew they had met the best guitarist they would ever know. So naturally they asked him to play bass. Dogmatic then became a well oiled machine. The band plays nearly every venue in San Diego and just released their debut album All Static, an album with 18 tracks of solid musicianship, powerful harmonies, and well written introspective lyrics. It is plain to see that Dogmatic is quickly becoming an unstoppable force. Dogmatic has now set out on a mission to rock, and that is what they do. They rock hard. Rock on Dogmatic….. Rock on..
