Artist History Based in South Gate, CA since forming in '96. -No relation to the artichoke town, Watsonville, CA. We got the name from a painting by artist Robert Bechtle. "lavender" and "kiss the boy goodbye" from WP can be found in Angelina Jolie film, "Mohave Moon"
