Artist description
Spinning Jennies are a San Francisco, California based power trio that
blend an upbeat, hard-driving sound with distinctive, melodic vocals in
true power pop fashion. Their sound is reminiscent of such bands as the
Posies, Redd Kross, Husker Du and subtle shades of pop-icons the Shoes.

Artist History
"Starstruck", the band's third full-length release, brings to life the
elements that make the Jennies such an instantly accessible band:
catchy, concise song structures; a full, aggressive guitar sound;
thundering rhythm section and smooth, melodic vocals accented by soaring
harmonies. The bands' previous releases "Pop n' Serve" and "Bloom"
served up equally pleasing portions of melodic pop and have helped
establish the Jennies as one of the premiere pop bands in the Bay Area.
The albums have also sold well in area stores and through other
distribution channels nationwide. The band has played extensively
around California and the Western U.S. since their formation in late
1993.
