Artist description
Smilek is a band that is a perfect cross between the hard rock we all love and the modern rock we've all grown to love. This band and this album have the potential to break out big and be the new rock revolution we've all been waiting for. So if you're tired of all the music out there these days that all seems to sound the same, YOU MUST HEAR THIS! -John Feldstein (R&R/IA) |

Press Reviews
Very good stuff! Bon Jovi meets Kip Winger meets Bryan Adams, with their own flair. The crowd loved their set. I had a chance to spend time chatting with all the guys inthe band, and they are about THE most down-to-earth, friendly dudes you'll ever runinto. They have the potential to break out big... Dan Harding, Heavy HarmoniesMarty Smilek is a re-incarnated Bon Jovi (even though Jon's not actually dead!) If you canimagine a cross between Jon and Bryan Adams, with the slick sound of Firehouse, you'vegot Smilek! Marty sounded even better live than on the CD, if the Rock scene was a bitstronger, he'd be going platinum! He and the band have what it takes to pull it off live aswell.Torch, Rock And A Hard Place |
