Artist History
Sheila O’Donnell (SHE-SHE) is a universal songstress whose passionate and
ethereal bell-toned voice blends folk-rock, pop and Celtic styles into a
unique sacred sound. Her vision and purpose is to bring the music of heaven
to earth through a major recording contract worldwide taking her show to the
masses. A beacon of light, love and encouragement for our planet, she
delights in sharing her music with all of her audiences. She dreams her
songs and she sings her dreams.
Her first CD, “Come by the Hills” is a collection of Celtic songs she
recorded in honor of her father, Irish folk musician, Sean O’Donnell.
Sheila released her first CD of original pop-rock songs entitled “Waking Up”
at the Hothouse in Chicago in November of 2000. These TIC TOC ENTERTAINMENT
record releases came on the heels of her explosive success on the MP3.com
Internet music site where three of Sheila’s songs were in the top five on
the mp3.com charts. www.mp3.com/sheilao
In 2002, she co-founded a non-profit organization called the Peace-Network
for artists who are interested in world peace www.peace-network.org and is
actively planning the ONE LOVE International World Peace Festival to take
place at the Sedona Cultural Park in Arizona on June 21st, 2003. She-She
believes that “World
Peace” is possible as each person, one person at a time, chooses to have
inner peace.
Sheila moved from her hometown of Chicago, IL to Los Angeles in October of
2001 and is actively pursuing a
career as a successful international recording and performing artist. She
has performed at The Atlas Supper Club, The Joint, Highland Grounds, Bistro
West, Molly Malone’s, The Crooked Bar, The Force for Freedom concert in
Malibu, and performs regularly with her band at Canter’s Kibbitz Room.
