Artist History
Patrick Lydon has been toting around his flute since 1993 where he played in his school band. At a young age, he found that this metal tube that people called a flute had put him in situations where he was surrounded by many women. Indeed, the "great odds for guys" was a key feature of this instrument. Yet, after 7 years of dating only flute players, it seemed that Patrick needed to branch out.
Enter the guitar. An older yet still capable nylon string Goya -- a gift from his grandfather -- was his first instrument. He has since collected a few others including his favorite, a 3/4 size parlour guitar, and a full size signed by two of the members of Jethro Tull (this one doesn't get much play, obviously).
Now a graphic design major in college, it seems that poor Patrick has gotten the idea that he should put some more effort into writing and recording songs. I suppose his thinking is that he can pull a classic "School's for fools, look at me!" type move. Ha. Right Patty boy. You keep composing, but the second you quit school is the second before my fist lands in your face. Alright?
