Artist History
Who is Lou Dog? A mystery. A contradiction. Lou Dog is a singer, song-writer, multi-instrumentalist, and a recording artist.
As a former member of the influential art rock band, The Dangerous Shoe, in the mid-1990s, Lou Dog has been tucked away in whereabouts unknown for the past half-decade composing and releasing eclectic discs, rumored to emanate from his home studio, Shoe Shine.
Inspired by noise and words, sounds and songs, distortion and rhythm, Lou Dog prowls Dylan to the Velvet Underground in a melange of psychedelic, garage, folk, and punk.
"Slowly Drifting" is performed by Lou Dog using four paws and a lot of machines. "Slowly Drifting" is Lou Dog's first professionally produced CD. The album was engineered and mixed by Bogdan Hernik and produced by Bogdan and Lou Dog. The album was recorded at Indre Recording Studio in Philadelphia and at Shoe Shine Studio #3 during many all night sessions.
Lou Dog currently splits his time between Venus and Mars and is finishing up a second full-length album to be released in October 2002.

Additional Info
Lou Dog once said he likes to limit himself to the span of one night from time of conception to completion of a song so as not to get too self indulgent. |
