Press Reviews
"My Sight" 10"
ALL-influenced pop punk with a singer who sounds like the Rocket From The Crypt cat. This strikes me as way better than ALL, great heavy energetic sound with tight tempo changes. I liked every song on this. If you like tight pop punk, this is your cup of java.
-MAXIMUMROCKNROLL
Totally melodic poppy punk tunes with tons of guitar harmonics jumping out and speedy, funky bass breaks. Sounds like that post-DAG NASTY, post-FUGAZI band you like to shake your feet to.
-NO IDEA
"Static Head" 7"
If JOBBERNOWL were from Washington, D.C. they'd be on Dischord, if they were from California they'd be on Lookout! Unfortunately for them, they're from Miami. This EP is outstanding - JOBBERNOWL have their own unique melodic HC sound. Sometimes (in "Regret") in Dag Nasty territory, the next moment there's "False" with it's FUGAZI-esque intro. "We Don't Want To Know" is yet more fine, melodic punk - and that's just the B-side. Side A has "Channel 5" and "Static Head," both of which are cool songs. If there's any justice, JOBBERNOWL deserves to be Massive!
