Artist description Jared Nissim, long time drummer/harmony singer in NYC Power Pop quartet Youngster, has been playing acoustic guitar and writing songs for almost as long as he's been a drummer (oh, about 10 years or so). Most of his songs are a product of his uncommon psyche as well as some heavy hitting pop influences. His style is rhythmic and groovy and his melodies are hooks that draw you in. His lyrics tell stories of childhood memories we can all identify with, rocketships to the moon, life in the city, travelling and meeting women on the Internet. Artist History Jared's been playing drums for 10 years and guitar for 6 years. He moved to NYC in 1996 and joined Youngster, to become a part of the NY Pop subculture that is slowly wreaking havok on the foreboding world of Hip Hop and crap. He's played his loafers to death in Youngster and now he's gonna start singin' his own stuff for ya'll.
