If that wasn't enough, their hit single, "Following a Star" found it's way into a key scene in the hit movie "American Pie". Artist History Duke Daniels started out in 1996, and after making a spark on the club scene in Los Angeles at such dives as The Opium Den Duke caught the attention of one Adam Duritz, lead singer of Counting Crows. A year and a half later when Duritz launched his own record label, E Pluribus Unum (part of Interscope), Duke Daniels was one the first artists on the roster.Since then, Duke Daniels -- with Dan Clark on vocals and acoustic guitar -- has toured with The Wallflowers, Anne & Nancy Wilson of Heart, Old 97's, Keb' Mo', Lowen & Navarro, Young Dubliners, Violent Femmes, Cesar Rosas and a host of others.Its songs have been featured in this summer's box office smash, "American Pie," along with MTV's "Road Rules," and also on the Disney Channel. The band has just finished a a year-long tour for "Help is on the Way," garnering accolades from critics and fans alike, and is off to record a follow-up.
