Musical Influences The Police, Radiohead, New Order, Replacements, old REM

Artist History My recollections of my origins are a bit hazy. I think I started off as just a gleam in my father's eye. I also remember that there was a lot of swimming involved. After that, I just floated around in a balloon for almost a year, which was pretty cool because there was always someone singing to me. Then, splash, blinding light! I've always been drawn to music, maybe because of the music I heard in that balloon. I started playing the guitar and played in two different bands (Crucial 3 and Deluge - heard of 'em?) We covered songs by the Police, Cure, New Order, All, Depeche, Buzzcocks, Descendents, TSOL, Echo, and Dagnasty. Those bands eventually fell apart, so I was left with just my guitar to console me. I wrote some originals and performed them on the open mic circuit. (Thank god for the Green Room, Hollywood). "Simulacrum" contains five of these originals. I hope to finish a full length CD soon
