Artist History In early 1997 Elmore started out as Sidetracked, a Mesa, Arizona band made up of three members: Ben(lead, vocals), Tim(drums), and Mike(bass). These three friends began making music for the next few years and added the talents of Jeremy(acoustic, backup, vocals) to their band and music. As the year 2001 rolled around Jeremy moved to New York and the band was back to the original three members, but something was different. Their sound had changed, their music had matured and it was time for something new. Feeling they held too closely to their name the band no longer wanted to be Sidetracked(literally). Out of this, Elmore was born. Their sound became stronger and their music was unique but with a feeling like you've known your entire life. Through their creative rhythms and powerful yet humble lyrics Elmore's music relates to everyone and can be enjoyed by anyone.
