Artist History Since the beginning when the brothers Rafael and Bruno heard the first accords of the grunge sound, they felt motivated to start their own band. In the beginning of the year 1997, they met Diego, a musician, which was at the same High School. In 1998, they started the band "Gun", at the same time they were having fun playing at their garage house in proving their skills. at the same year, Rafael and Bruno met Pocho (Leandro), who just arrived from Belo Horizonte and were schoolmates. Pocho begins to listen the band practice, and enjoys the group. In March in the same year, they started the "No Faith", with Minus (Vitor), Rafael and Bruno's cousin, and also some friends. Both bands had the same style and start playing together and doing some concerts together. In the beginning of 1999, the band "No Faith" ends. The band "Gun" changes its name for "Zina" and also changes its components with the vision of promotions itself. Although in few months, the band ends and each one goes their own way. In 2000, the two brothers get together again, to start a new band. Minus and Diego get together also and start to look for a vocal. In March Pocho accepts the vocal position and they start a band called "Spelltone". After practicing for a while, with a few concerts and new songs by their own, the name of the band changes for the last time to "Cooling Down", with the presentation of the 'demo-tape' (" Who Cares? ") in September 2000. During the year of 2001, looking for aggressive accords and fury, the band decides to find another vocalist; whit the suggestion of Pocho, they incorporate Grep (Augusto), a friend and follower of the band rehearsal as a new member. The Cooling Down just recently in November introduced its first promotional CD with 4(four) songs, and they are working in its next independent CD; with already in its way. In it's journey of concerts in Fortaleza(CE) and outside, the topic is the "III Forcaos" (Northeast underground Music Festival), with performances in "Mossoro Music Festival" (RN) ,"Alta Estacao do Rock" (Highest Rock Station) with plenty of cover up by the local press and big fuss in town.
