Artist History
The current lineup was formed in the Summer of 2000 by singer Todd Hall, guitarist Chris "Bingo" Wilson, Bassist Michael Charland and drummer Erik Jenkins. They began by tearing into the local Northern Virginia/DC scene, by playing small places like the Grog and Tankard, Jammin Java and Jamies General Bean. They later moved on to larger venues as the crowds began to grow, such as JAXX, Metro Cafe and even the NATION. Later REV.9 added to their line up with the addition of former ENDSEED guitarist Nadim Kouttab, helping to thicken, the well established REV.9 sound. After the seperation between Bingo and REV.9, Danny Price formerly of the Sterling, Va 'Electric Heavy Metal' band Bodyfarm took his position as the second guitarist. REV.9 exerts such a powerful live performance that no other local band has been able to follow. The long awaited REV.9 CD "Issues Of A Dying Butterfly" was released on NOV.11th 2001. REV.9 has shared the stage with such national acts as: Vanilla Ice, Non-Point, Boiler Room, Stereomud, Chimira, 20 Dead Flower Children, The CLay People, Biohazard, Skinlab, Asphalt Milk, Rod Laver, The Step Kings, Dog Fasion Disco, SEV, OS101, E-Town Concrete, Liquid Gang, Dave Brocky Experience, Sworn Enemy, OTEP, Candiria, Agents Of Man, 36 Crazyfists, Hemlock, Swift, Connected, Slymenstra Hymen and the Girlie Freak Show.
