Press Reviews Jones Avenue have released their CD "Folk Art" (and what a spectacular CD release party they had: Friday through Saturday at the Freedom Fest at Woodie's, a psychodrama with all the elements from yin to yang!) it's out, and with a bang. A most psychedelic folk sound and so appropriate to today's world--- two pick cuts: "World War III" which I could visualize on an MTV video, it captures the strange post september 11th mood --- but sounds great as well --- written by the gracious genius Brian Fowler, it ebbs and flows with steady great sound and those chilling vocals: "The mustard gas is choking me". "Savious", written and sung by the mellow soul warrior Dr. David Wisdo. There's the haunting sound of the violin of Lazslo Stand (who hails from--- believe it or not!--- Transylvania!) and the on-the-nail bass (and flute) of the loyal John Joiner.
