Artist description I am an hobbiest songwriter/composer and recently began producing my songs using Cakewalk Metro 5 on an iMac with a midi keyboard and a Roland JV-1010 synth box. I play everything myself as well as sing lead and harmonies. My Angel (wife) adds some vocals and critiques what I produce.

Artist History I've been writing songs, singing, and playing guitar and keyboards for over 20 years. Mostly I do this for friends, parties and an occasional open mike at a coffee house. Anyway, over the years I've written a considerable number of songs I'd now like to produce. Most of these are in a light rock or light rock-jazz fusion vein. Most recently, though, I began working on a Christmas CD of mostly new and all original material. You can find a sampling of these Christmas songs on my MP3.com webpage. By late fall I hope to offer the completed CD on my web page. As to the Vibe contest, I got the idea for "There's a New Vibe In Town" just 4 weeks ago while working on the percussion part of other material. I started putting words to the rhythm and came up with lyrics for the Pontiac Vibe contest. I hadn't initially thought about entering, but here I am offering up this new material. Unlike most of my material, though, I don't sing on this one. Instead I talk through it because it seemed to better fit the style and mood..
