Artist History
For ten years my child, I wandered in darkness — occasionally catching glimpses of light and magic; only to be led astray again and again.
Was it God? the devil? or my own weaknesses whom hath led me down the dark path again and again? I cannot say because all three do not speak to me directly.
all flesh has had a history of false start, broken promises and cheap shots. All flesh had also built awesome momentum in my local scene of the Twin Cities, from it's start in '93, to its first death just three years later. Unlike Christ, I had fallen prey to the small temptations of home and family, safety and stagnation at a time when all flesh was to go national — and the 'First Church of All Flesh' perished.
In the midst of my struggles with domestic life, the spirit within me gave rebirth to a bastard child called all flesh in 2000 AD. I love my brothers and sisters who walked with me that short time in Seattle, but that love blinded me to the fact that all flesh has forever been the physical manifestation of my own personal struggles — and of my joys too.
I have been cleansed and purified of those small demons, and I am ready to again enter the arena of my choosing; the stage is once again that which shall forever be all flesh
—Billy Fisk, July 2003
