Artist description UNITED is a four-piece rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. They began in the summer of 2001 after most of the members relocated from playing the Dallas Deep Elllum scene to Atlanta, Georgia. The concept of unity permeates the group to the core with Jonathan, Sean, and Ryan sharing songwriting and lead vocal duties. Concentrating on rich harmonies, their interchangeable singing abilities prove to be a unique asset to the group. UNITED creates well-crafted, concise songs that stick in your head and has their sold out crowds singing along even without the benefit of a recorded album. Their songs evoke a range of influences from the blistering post-punk guitars of early U2 on one track to packing the fury of The Ramones on the next, and throwing out the swaggering attitude of The Stones on another. While the current crop of punk revivalists are telling everyone where to stick it, UNITED brings the same intensity yet expresses a more honest emotion in their own melodic way.
