Artist History Transit began in late 2000 with Mike on guitar, Simon on drums, and Daniel on bass. they were jamming. Then Daniel went off and joined MyEye, leaving the two individuals to fend for themselves. They did. They found themselves a singer by the name of Brian. Brian was a big strong guy who liked to sing. The guys liked to listen to Brian sing, so they asked him to join in their "band". Daniel still played with MyEye. The guys found themselves a bass player by the name of Andrew. They played for a little while and then decided that Andrew was not the kind of base payer they wanted, so Andrew and the band(now called Tranzit) went their separate ways, although to this day Andy is a great friend of theirs and they love him to death. The band tried out a bass player and 2nd guitar player, but they didnt sound good, so they didnt join the band. Then Simon called up Daniel and said, "Hey...I know that you are playing in MyEye, but you should come jam with us, only on the guitar now!" Daniel jumped at the chance to play with his old friends. he came and played with them and then he joined the band. As soon as Daniel joined, they changed their name to "Transit". Daniel and Simon thought that "Tranzit" sounded like the name of an early 90's rapper, and that was not the image they were going for. Anyway, one night Daniel was playing at a club downtown with MyEye, and he saw a bass player. This bass player had mad ol' chops like Samuel Adams, and musical chops to match. He called up Simon and said, "Get down here and hear this Bass Player!" They did. His name is Chad. He joined the band, and all the guys like the way he sounds. They hope you do too.
