Artist History
Severeign formed back in Feburary 2001 under the name War Within. After legal issues with the name they changed the name to 10 Car Pileup. The band was Bob Hall, Ryan McLoughlin, Geoff Doyle and Eric Grosklos. After three practices they had three song of their own. After playing the Delhi Metal Fest in May 2001 Eric left the band to persue his carrer in the music bussines. Enter Hank West. Severeign then fell to a new name change. 10 Car Pileup was being used by a punk band in CA. Severeign was born. Hank left after 4 short months, he felt Severeign were too heavy for his taste. Enter Luke Harvis on Bass. After a long string of gigs Severeign felt the need to have a second guitarist. The plan was to move Luke to 2nd guitar and find a new bassist. In January 2002 Ryan attened the NAMM convention in Anehiem CA. There he met Joe Stacey (fellow student) and asked him if he wanted to play bass for Severeign. Joe quickly agreed and Luke moved to 2nd guitar. The new lineup has now made Severeign more powerful and they are ready to kick ass at a town near you! |
