Artist description
Ill Frequency’s sound may be all its own, but that’s not to say they haven’t been influenced by a variety of artists such as: Incubus, Rage Against the Machine, Faith No More, The Roots, Sevendust, the Deftones and Tool. Each band member draws on a wide variety of influences, not just musical ones, to create the embodiment of the feelings that is the music. Everything in life has its own frequency, but most people don’t take it for granted. Ill Frequency tries to take that frequency and put it into their music in such a way that it brings a whole new life to the songs. |

Artist History
Ill Frequency began in the summer of 2000. Vocalist Mickey Pacanza(Satellite Lot) and guitarist Nick Crosen had been trying to start a new project when they met Drummer Chris deBree(Corridor) and bassist Corey Norman(Corridor). The four spent several months writing material before Corey quit to attend school. After nearly a year, the four re-united, but with a slight twist. Mickey had taken over on guitar leaving Nick free to handle the mic. |
