Artist History The band formed in 1995 with mainman Rik on guitar, Bas on guitar, Chris on bass, Jurgen on drums and rookie (at that time) Koen on vocals. They started to write songs and sometime later they released their first and only demo "Struggle Of Death". The name started to spread and some local gigs were played with excellent response which made their popularity grow. Meanwhile more new songs were composed and in the fall of 1998 they entered the studio to record 9 songs for their first full-length CD "Awaiting To Subside". In early 1999 the album was released on Rik's newly formed label Skull Crusher Records. This lead to playing even more gigs throughout the year. The same year Bas decided to leave the band because of lack of time and interest. Koen then took over the guitar and Virulent growler Jorre was recruited as session vocalist. Not long after that Koen also decided to leave the band to focus fully on his other band Detonation. Sjamp then joined the band as new guitarist. With the line-up complete again the band is now working on new material for the new album, which is to become a concept album about the battleship Bismarck. Engorge shall strike back in 2002!!!
