Artist History With Death Comes Despair formed out of the ashes of the Richmond hardcore band Forefront in 1999 under a different name. We changed our name and we changed members a few times before deciding on what ended up being With Death Comes Despair as we know it today. We played our first show in Winston-Salem, NC with Darkest Hour in June 2000. The band broke up in early 2001. You can find members of With Death Comes Despair in Tri State Killing Spree, The Human Timebomb, Nehema, This Present Darkness, Sentient, among many other bands.
