Artist History
Way back in the end of the 80´s I got my self
the Amiga 500. Started to work with graphics
and even tried to learn to program the damn thing
however my programing skills never got very
good, so I started to make music with the
Noisetracker. After getting into this I soon
realized I had to get a synth to be able to
sample new fresh synth sounds. My first synth
became the Korg Wavestation. Pretty soon after
this purchase I needed drums (Roland R8 was bought)
And another synth (Roland JD-800). And so it kept
on going. In 93 I was offered a jobb as a radio
commercials producer, so this was the work I did
for over 3 years. Me and a friend of mine made
a deal with the radio station that made it possible
for us to have a quite large room for our synth´s.
We spent much time here composing and working on
commercials for the radio station. However after
some time of making commercials I grew tired of
the jobb and decided to study. Since 96 I have
been going to school reading all kinds of stuff.
In 98 I decided to form a band called "Phoenix1291"
and I released my first long play record called
"Universe" which featured 11 instrumental songs
and was a musical journey through space. Some of
the songs where written long ago, while others
where composed in 98 in order to make the story
complete. In 00 a collection of additional old
material was released, this album was called
"time traveler/voyageur du temps" and it featured
unreleased material and different mixes from the
"Universe" album. Right now I am working on a project
called "Genesis" and will be released under my
current band name "Synthx".
