Artist History
MYEISA began her vocal escapade as a humorous Storyteller and Sunday school choir soloist in St. Paul’s Missionary Baptist Church in Savannah, GA. She went on to study vocals and ballet internationally. Honing her talents in several countries, (i.e., Germany, France, Spain and Italy) She was a member of Herschel V. Jenkins High School All-State Choir in Savannah, Georgia. Later, in her dawn of her eleventh grade year of high school, she auditioned and was selected to attend the prestigious Duke Ellington School of the Performing and Visual Arts in Washington, D.C. This was a remarkable endeavor in that students were very rarely chosen to attend the school in grades beyond their sophomore years. There she studied classical music with world-renowned vocal instructors. During this time, MYEISA performed with Richard Smallwood and Melba Moore. MYEISA returned to Savannah to graduate from Savannah High School and was selected to study voice her senior year at Armstrong State College in Savannah, Georgia |
