Artist History
Mike Donatowicz was co-founder and leader of Chicago's underground favorite from the late 70's and early 80's...The Bunch.
He has played and recorded with some of Chicago's top artists, including Joe Costanzo,Jimmy Cleary, and Denny Cieslak.
He still is produced by the enigmatic Cool Hand Tuto. Their partnership dates back to 1976. Session artists
such as Mick Charlz, Ian Ion, Roland Rik, Popko, and perenial closing act, Jack Armstrong, continue
to lend their talents and support.

Press Reviews
"Last years 'And We Say Alright' was a rare highlight in a otherwise dull music year"...Fred Derf(Southeast Herald)
"Snoremask is an interesting mix of styles and ideas. I listened over and over!"...Ed N. Lee(Murphys Local)
"I didn't know HOW to take 'The Walking Fist' from Mike Donatowicz. I decided to dance and enjoy the satire! I think it's funny
when people send mixed messages!"...Phillip S. Jones(The Hallway Report)
"I have had Snoremask in my cd player for a week! This is some of the best local stuff to come
out in along time! What a great follow-up to last years 'And We Say Alright' cd."...Darcey Olsen(Peacock Newsletter) |
